This is THE DROP
THE DROP is the flagship four-part competition from 24/7 Artists
A campaign built to empower independent creators to co-create, co-own, and co-release one song from start to finish. This is more than a contest. It’s a statement.
We’re not just talking about clout.
We’re talking about $10,000+ in prizes, celebrity judges, co-ownership of the final track, and the kind of mentorship and exposure that can shift your whole trajectory.
Whether you produce, write, design, or just know how to spot talent when you see it—this is your moment to get involved and build something that actually means something.

Phase 1: Produce the Beat - We start with the producers
You get exclusive access to a rare sample from Kip Carmen, and the challenge is simple: flip it into a track that hits. Chop it. Slow it. Stretch it. Make it yours.
Once entries are in:
- The community votes for the top 3 beats
- A panel of guest judges selects 1 winning beat

Phase 2: Write the Song - Next up Writers
Once the winning beat is locked, the Open Verse Challenge begins. Artists record their verses and submit them for review. Each week, five of the strongest entries will be featured. Fans vote. Energy builds.
In the end, two artists will be selected to collaborate on the final version of the track—and share ownership of the release.

Phase 3: Make the Artwork - Designers vs. AI
You can submit your own hand-crafted cover art—or use our AI Album Art Generator to create something totally unique. Our team and a guest judge will select five finalists. The community votes. One winner. One official cover.

Phase 4: Release the Record
With the track complete and visuals locked, we drop the full release—powered by the full 24/7 ecosystem.
Winners from each phase receive:
- A share of $4,000+ in cash and prizes
- Ownership in the final song
- Use of 24/7 tools like the Release Planner and Splits Calculator
- Mentorship sessions and 1-on-1 meets with industry pros
- Promotion across all 24/7 channels
Why It Matters
THE DROP is designed to show artists what it really takes to create and release music in 2025—and give them the tools to do it.
From production to marketing, from co-creation to co-ownership, this campaign is a hands-on blueprint for the future of independent music.
This is the opportunity creators talk about when they say, “If I just had the right platform.”
This is the one. This is the moment. Follow us @247artists for more on how to compete.
